300,000 sq ft
Completed: 2018
This 300,000 square foot corporate office building sits in the heart of tech’s most iconic corporate campuses. The client requested that the building be given an aesthetic refresh, be modified programmatically to accommodate a new user group, and adhere to the company’s latest comprehensive standards for office design.
The scope of work included three floors - 150,000 square feet each - of complete tenant fit out. The project was phased by floor so that it could remain partially occupied through construction.
The interior design was inspired by the company’s roots in a Silicon Valley garage using humble and resourceful materials like plywood, OSB, and expanded metal mesh. The floor plan, oriented for views to daylight and casual collision, was an homage to urban street plans - a wide “boulevard” hallway stacked with meeting rooms and intersected with smaller “alleyway” corridors leading to open office space and dynamic informal lounge spaces.
Responsibilities included: Establishing a working relationship with a new, high profile tech client; engaging with the users of the building and responding to their needs; concept development including diagrammatic studies and look and feel direction; development of the schematic design package and all supporting renderings and drawings; delivery of both the design document and construction document sets, and execution of some construction administration tasks.
This 9,000 square foot tenant relocation fit-up in an existing office tower will function as the Atlanta headquarters of a major financial investment firm.
Responsibilities included execution of the design development package and construction document set; including: egress and demolition drawings, partition and reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, elevations and sections, millwork details, and completion of all legends and schedules.
This 400,000 square foot corporate office, currently under construction in suburban Charlotte, will house the Southeast headquarters of a Fortune 500 financial services corporation.
The scope of work includes development of a new corporate campus, marrying the progressive culture and identity of the client with the local mill-inspired aesthetic of the Carolinas. This is manifested through an open office-driven plan, with evenly distributed "choice rooms" providing both privacy and collaboration opportunities. Materiality and furniture selection, informed by the mills which once dominated the local economy, incorporates wood and steel accents to reinforce a familiar residential feel for all employees.
Responsibilities included: Development of the schematic design package and all supporting renderings and drawings; delivery of both the design document and construction document sets, BIM management for the project, and execution of some construction administration tasks.
This confidential convention center project, currently under construction in India, will boast 8 million combined square feet of convention space, a landmark theater, retail, office space, and residential towers.
The scope of work incorporates all convention halls and supporting programmatic elements, including significant theater spaces.
Responsibilities included: development of the interior design schematic design package, consisting of comprehensive rendering work and material selections; delivery of the design document set; and later proposed material revisions to integral elements of the design.
